Caroline Celley & Blake Tonn — Minted

Caroline Celley

and

Blake Tonn

Wedding Party

Madeline Phipps

Matron of Honor

Madeline is my favorite and only sister, so she was an easy choice for this role! I have finally forgiven her for asking my parents to send me back when I was 8 days old. Now she is my best friend, wise advisor, and hero for providing me with my favorite and only niece, Margo!

Luke Ignaczak

Best Man

Luke and I met in college at Penn. As members of SAE, we would often skip social events in lieu of ridiculous cinematic feats like watching the entire Godfather collection in chronological order or binging an entire 12-part “90s” documentary in one sitting. He is also very kind and allows Caroline to invite herself to our rare boys' weekends.

Kaycie Hanlin

Bridesmaid

My cousin Kaycie has been by my side since we were little, as we were the ones who were always "chosen" to sleep on the floor at cousin sleepovers. She is the best cross-stitcher I have ever met and the Tauntie to my Tia. We have had a lot of great frousin times together!

Patrick Schrimsher

Groomsman

Pat is my cousin and was my partner-in-crime growing up. We both took a similar approach to elementary school by playing hooky as much as we possibly could to hang out at our grandparents’ house for the day. While he may be the better athlete, only one of us lost our breakfast in front of the White House after a run. Caroline and I can't wait to celebrate his upcoming marriage to Julie!

Mallory Goldenberg

Bridesmaid

Mallory and I have been friends since elementary school! We grew up playing tennis together, which really meant drinking a lot of Jamba Juice and acquiring a large amount of tennis outfits and accessories. We have been besties for so long, through awkward phases, dance shows, birthday parties and Disneyland trips. I was honored to stand by her on her big day a few years ago, and I am so glad she will be next to me for mine!

Jesse Lloyd

Groomsman

I met Jesse, my oldest friend, while playing on McCormick Ranch Golf Course. From camp in the summer to football in the fall, we hung out almost every day during our childhood. Even though Jesse moved to Montana when we were young, we have stayed good friends throughout the years. He's finishing up his first tour at an Air Force base in Jordan and will hopefully be back in time for the wedding!

Alyssa Hatton

Bridesmaid

My Tri Delta big! Alyssa convinced me to join her sorority just so I could be her little “because it would be funny” after we became close friends during our year studying abroad in Argentina. It was a great idea! I got to be her maid of honor two years ago, and I think my *hilarious* toast at her wedding was one of the reasons Blake fell in love with me.

Ivan Iotzov

Groomsman

Ivan Vladimir Iotzov was born in Bulgaria and moved to the U.S. when he was young. Even though he’s likely an agent for the KGB, we bonded over common interests in high school. We both enjoyed discussing politics and world events, and we decided to go to college on the East Coast. While I don't get to see him as much as I'd like, we always seem to pick up right where we left off.

Sami Patella

Bridesmaid

Sami and I became friends during the first week of college, when we bonded over a shared love of In the Heights (when it was just a show, pre-movie popularity!) She has spent/wasted many hours since trying to expand my playlists beyond Taylor Swift. We were roomies for two years in college, and despite living far away from each other ever since, are roomies forever in our hearts!

Luke Peeples

Groomsman

The first person I met from Arizona going to Penn, Peeples is an enigma. After we got engaged, the first thing he said was, “Well that was inevitable, but I’m so happy for you guys!” He was the first of my friends to meet Caroline, and, even though we were "just friends" at the time, he gave her an early stamp of approval. While he's a traitor to the great state of Arizona, I'll forgive him for moving to California as long as I can visit.

Heather Odell

Bridesmaid

Heath is technically my first college friend, since I met her at Admitted Student Weekend! Sami, Heather and I all lived in the same dorm freshman year, went to Argentina together, and lived in our Malibu Dream Apartment on the beach senior year. We have had many great reunions since, in DC, Boston, and the Dominican Republic, where Heather kindly moved after college to give us an excuse for a beachy girls getaway.

Glen Richardson

Groomsman

Glen was my only friend from SAE who lived in DC after college, so he witnessed our relationship develop over the years. He was a faithful attendee at all the rooftop parties, birthdays, and dinners we hosted before he abandoned us for Stanford. I'm glad he finally decided to get some golf lessons so he can actually enjoy Arizona.

Melanie Brown

Bridesmaid

Melanie has been my trusted confidant and post-work happy hour pal since we worked together in DC (two different times!) She and her husband Tyler (and their dog Wrigley) are some of our favorite people. We share a love of Arizona and day drinking, which it turns out is a pretty firm foundation for friendship.

Anthony Liveris

Groomsman

Anthony is my fraternity big brother, and former roommate. We met at an underground sushi restaurant that was later closed for health code violations. Anthony showed me around Philadelphia, taking me to swanky speakeasies in center-city and discussing grandiose plans. I learned a lot from Anthony while we lived together in New York, and cherish the time we got to spend together.

Helen Heiden

Bridesmaid

Helen is another former coworker turned friend through happy hours and days spent shopping on nordstrom.com instead of doing our work. From fro-yo breaks at the Senate cafeteria to sipping Veuve on the streets of Paris, we have shared some wonderful memories! She makes a mean ribeye, and is really good at throwing birthday parties that no one can remember the next day.

Connor McClain

Groomsman

My future brother-in-law, Connor grew up playing football with Patrick in Arizona. We didn't meet until the 2019 holidays, but have become good friends since then. Connor and Jessica are getting married in November, and I could not be happier for them! I've always wanted a brother...just not one who drives the ball 315 yards.

Jessica Tonn

Bridesmaid

I am so excited to get another sister! Part of the reason my dad initially liked Blake was because he knew Jess was a professional runner, and he wanted to get some tips. It has been so much fun living in the same city and "wedding planning" together over drinks and apps.

Kyle Phipps

Groomsman

The only doctor and healthcare hero of the bunch, Kyle is Caroline’s brother-in-law. Since Kyle and Madeline moved to Phoenix, we played golf with Kyle almost every time we were visiting from DC. We still find time to play whenever the girls don't have a weekend activity planned!

Hazel Ryan

Flower Girl

Hazel is my tiny best friend! I spent my first year in DC as her "Tia" (nanny) and we had the time of our lives going to the parks, zoo and museums all day every day. She's been ready for this role since the day "Mr. Blake" finally gave me a ring.

Beau Ryan and Everett Feehs

Ring Bearers

Beau and Everett are our two favorite little guys! Make sure to watch out for Beau's tackles or he will take you out. Everett will likely try to steal your girl on the dance floor. You've been warned.
